I started demoing songs for this album at home in October of 2005, and mustered up the courage to enter a studio with the material the following April. I was 18. When it was done, I had no idea what to do with it. Fast forward to two years later: my friend Jessica Jordan, who had been in The Polyphonic Spree, gave a copy of it to Tim DeLaughter, who became my friend and cheerleader, and who spared no expense in remastering and releasing the album on the Spree's own label, Good Records Recordings. It's the sound of me throwing basically everything at the wall to see what would stick, and while years later it feels like someone else made this record, I'm proud to present it to you now.
